That is such a cool plant... had I the moisture it needs, I would grow it! Great pictures as always.
Actually, the plant is simply given regular watering (our climate is very dry), and is on the edge of a lawn. The soil is sandy in this garden. So it really doesn't need anything special. It just doesn't want to dry out.
