I am visiting your blog for the first time and really like your frost and snow pictures. They are great. Grass even looks in winter great, when it's not green:)
I'm going to have to look up Grand Forks. I certainly have heard of it but I honestly thought GF was in the BC Interior -- not from the look of these photos. We too have "ringlet" grass. Isn't it lovely when it does things like that?
